The Be Seen, Be Heard conference hosted by Freedom from Abuse and Leigh Day was very well-attended and received. The content was hard-hitting as expected for an event covering different forms of abuse, but the feedback excellent. I spoke for a short time about my own early adverse experiences as one of a large panel of speakers on the day, and also touched on how healing from trauma is possible through safe and effective trauma processing, working with the right person.
Watch the full recording from the conference here. My speaking slot was at the 57:50 point.
