Trauma solutions made simple - We refuse to be part of a broken system

We offer specialised trauma focused training for people who work with young offenders, this includes Youth offending teams, Magistrates, Judges and other teams connected with the child / teenager.
Our Trauma focused training packages, can shape and form the operations and service delivery of your organisation. We include our innovative and futuristic mapping system which is undergoing robust research yet has already been recognised as an advanced system for reducing trauma related offending behaviours. Our approach reflects a top down (operations) and bottom up (Service Delivery) focus which targets the specific areas you wish to see results in.
We deliver scientifically proven treatments that resolve past traumas and restore people. We are used to working with multiple mental health diagnosis such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Narcism, Dissociative Disorders and many more which have evolved due to trauma.

When we review the symptoms of Trauma and PTSD in children and Teenagers, we can explicitly see the connection to offending behaviours. Children that experienced ACE's often meet the Criterion A on the DSM-V scoring for PTSD. However if you include the scoring for Developmental Trauma Disorder alongside the full criteria of the DSM-V for PTSD it highlights the core clusters as gateways to violence and other offending behaviours. For example, the B clusters of PTSD are the re-experiencing symptoms of the trauma. When combined with Criteria D of PTSD, especially point 4, there can be a complete inability to regulate the strong emotions which are in response to the intrusions, this can result in some of the disorganisation and functional impairment which is highlighted in Criteria G of the developmental trauma disorder criteria. The combination of all clusters becomes a systemised, automated response to internal and external stimuli which results in pathological changes to the being. However, these symptoms can be resolved and trauma can be processed.

Understanding our Approach
Learn how we deliver scientifically proven treatments
Phase one focuses on the safety and stabilisation, dealing with ‘issues of personal safety and development of self, and ego capacities (i.e. tolerating and modulating strong emotions)’. This initial phase focuses on the client’s inner experiences, addressing memories, emotions and sensations including flashbacks.
